"Elevated Strawberry + Lion's Mane Mushroom Interplanting" Technology

Three-dimensional cultivation is based on the growth characteristics and resource conditions of different crops, cleverly utilizing time and space differences, and forming a multi-level three-dimensional production structure through interplanting to improve the utilization of time, space, light energy, soil fertility and other resources.
"Elevated strawberry + Hericium intercropping" is a three-dimensional cultivation model. It combines heterotrophic Hericium and autotrophic strawberry, so that the advantages of the two crops with different characteristics can be complementary and the disadvantages can be offset. , mutually promote growth and fruiting, and increase the output value per unit area without increasing the cultivation area.
Its main principles are as follows:
1. Gas complementarity
The entire growth process of Hericium mycelium requires the absorption of oxygen and the exhalation of carbon dioxide, while the photosynthesis of strawberries involves the inhalation of carbon dioxide to produce oxygen. The growth of mycelium provides carbon dioxide for strawberry photosynthesis. Especially in greenhouses, edible fungi often suffer from insufficient oxygen and a large accumulation of carbon dioxide. The yield of strawberries will also be affected by insufficient carbon dioxide concentration.
Through the intercropping of elevated strawberries and Hericium erinaceus, the two can complement each other in the utilization of oxygen and carbon dioxide, forming a virtuous cycle of gases inside the greenhouse. It not only reduces the ventilation time of the greenhouse, but also improves production efficiency. The two complement each other and bring out the best in each other.
2. Sharing of light
The important condition for photosynthesis of strawberries is light source, while Hericium erinaceus does not need direct strong light during its growth, and only needs a small amount of scattered light to differentiate and form fruiting bodies. Utilize the space under the elevated strawberry and use curtains to keep the mushrooms moist and shading, so as to meet their requirements for low light and not compete with the strawberries, effectively sharing light energy and cultivation space.
