Pork belly mushrooms, also known as big cup umbrellas and big funnel mushrooms, have a unique flavor and are as crispy as bamboo shoots. Because it resembles pork belly, it is named pork belly mushroom. With the increase in demand for pork belly ancient in the market, the planting area of pork belly mushrooms has also become wider and wider. So how to grow pork belly mushrooms? How should it be cultivated and managed? Let's take a look together.
1. Cultivation season
Inoculation is generally arranged from March to May, and mushrooms are produced from June to September. Various places can be flexibly controlled according to local natural temperature conditions.
2. Planting site
In order to reduce the occurrence of pests and diseases, the site should be far away from unclean sources such as garbage dumps and livestock farms, and disinfection and pest control should be done in advance. Underground mushroom sheds, awnings and mushroom houses can be used.
3. Mycelium culture
The cultivation technique of pork belly is to plant the pork belly in a clinker bag and cover it with mushrooms. Commonly used formulas are 39% dry wood chips, 34% cotton seed hulls, 22% wheat bran, 3% corn flour, 1% sugar, 1% light calcium carbonate, and 1% Yifuyuan Mushroom Bao. After sterilization according to conventional ingredients, inoculate bacteria at 25~28℃. After the mycelium is full, move it into the mushroom shed, take out the bag and arrange it, cover with a 3~4cm thick lid, adjust the moisture to keep the soil moist. After 7 to 15 days of covering, rod-shaped primordium can be seen on the soil surface.
4. Mushroom management
After the original base is released, pay attention to controlling the air humidity on site to between 80% and 95%. At the same time, strengthen ventilation, keep the air fresh, and pay attention to a certain amount of scattered light on site. The temperature of the whole mushroom production stage should be controlled at 23℃~32℃. The amount of spray water should be controlled according to the size of the mushrooms, the humidity of the mulch, and the climate. Spray more water on mushrooms and less water on mushrooms; spray more on sunny days and less spray on cloudy days.
5. Supplement nutrition
When spraying water, add Yifuyuan Mushroom Bao to the water to supplement probiotics, promote nutrient absorption of mycelium, and promote mushroom growth. At the same time, increasing the permeability of the soil is conducive to mushroom production and avoids abnormal mushrooms. After the mushrooms are mature, harvest them in time. Cover the mushrooms in time after each collection. After 3 to 5 days of water-saving cultivation, manage low tide mushrooms.
6. Pest control
In the growth stage of mycelium, the focus is to prevent various molds from invading the culture medium and causing pollution. Note that the production environment, raw and auxiliary materials, and production processes strictly meet the requirements, and bacterial inspections should not be too frequent. During the fruit body growth stage, focus on the prevention and control of various pests, such as various mushroom flies, mushroom mosquitoes, etc. The main method is to improve environmental sanitation. If necessary, spray 25% pyrethroid 1000 to 2000 times.
7. Harvest
The fruit bodies mature in 89 minutes, are funnel-shaped, with curled edges, and are collected in time when the spores are not expelled. Every time you pick the fruit body, you should hold the remaining mushroom stalk in the soil with your hand in time, and gently rotate and pull it out to avoid the occurrence of diseases and insect pests caused by the rot of the mushroom stalk in the soil.

At present, only a few areas can be cultivated artificially and have good development prospects. In order to effectively ensure the smooth production of pork belly mushroom, these points must be paid attention to during the cultivation process.
